Who is Kevin Trudeau

Kevin Trudeau is a self-made billionaire because of his money making formulas and health tips.

Kevin Trudeau, although involved in various scams and frauds became a self-made billionaire. His expertise was on selling where he sold books, formulas, food supplements, money making secrets, alternative medicine and many more which some consider as misrepresentations and unsubstantiated claims.

Kevin started his career after serving prison because of fraud. He and a fellow inmate joined Nutrition for Life in the early 1990s and they had become very successful although they were sued by the Illinois Attorney General for running a pyramid scheme. After having settled the problem, Trudeau produced infomercials where he promoted several products including health aids, dietary supplements, real estate investment strategies, memory improvement courses, baldness remedies, addiction breaking strategies and reading improvement programs.

Trudeau’s next business venture advanced when he wrote his own books and promoted them with infomercials. His first book entitled, “Natural Cures, They Don’t Want You to Know About”, published in 2005 received lots of criticisms that the book did not contain any natural cures as claimed by the title. Trudeau updated the book and titled it; “More Natural Cures Revealed: Previously Censored Brand Name Products That Cure Disease”. After Much criticism again Trudeau published his book, “The Weight-Loss Cure-They Don’t Want You to Know About”. He then published another book entitled, “Debt Cures They Don’t Want You to Know About”.

Trudeau’s books did well in the market. In fact his book “Natural Cures” was one of the best-selling non-fiction books in 2005. It has sold more than five million copies. This was followed by an Internet, Radio Talk show.

In 2009, Trudeau published another book entitled “The Money Making Secrets, They Don’t Want You to Know About”. Despite several criticisms from Trudeau’s critics, he was able to amass money from his infomercials, books and other formulas that he had created himself. His self-published books were sold well and it made him rich.

Trudeau has emerged as a business man despite his many criticisms having no medical training and his works are criticized as misrepresentation and misleading. His claims were often branded by his critics as misleading. In one of his books about weight loss, he claimed that the book contains easy to follow steps to weight-loss but the book was found out to contain a plan that requires intense dieting, daily injection of a prescribed drug that is hard to obtain and lifelong dietary restrictions. His books according to his critics contain claims with no substantial evidence to back up.

Trudeau became a billionaire by getting involved in products that lure people to buy them such as his books that all claim to cure. The word cure in all the titles of his books may have been the reason why his books had sold by the millions. Of course everybody wants a cure to a disease, memory loss, debts and the ability to control the factors that bring about luck in a person’s life.

Trudeau maybe involved in several law suits of fraud and scam but to other people, he is still someone to learn from. The fact that his books sold well proves that people buy anything that has to do with a cure-all. If Trudeau has made billions of dollars from what critics claim as fraud and scam, then who will come next after him?

I have read Several of Kevin's books. He never states he is a doctor or has credentials that give him merit beyond truth. This is a great article. Kevin deserves some popularity and a person really needs to think before jumping just because anyone says to jump. that also goes for the mds of the world too. The smart doctors and medical practioners will agree there are frauds there too. Promoted since I am out of votes.

Kevin Trudeau is one of the slickest promoters ever to grace the infomercial circuit. Not everything he promotes, however, is a scam. I've never bought any of his books – looked through a couple of them at the library – but he does dispense good advice concering Free Money. He's dead-on about collecting your share from class-action suits and the like. I've received a couple of checks from these suits regarding certain computer software. They were under $10, but I had them coming. Trudeau could charm the stripes off a zebra.
