1. His complete name is Jejomar Cabauatan Binay. He was born on November 11, 1942 and is more popularly known as “Jojo”.

2. Binay lives in Barangay San Antonio, Makati City, Philippines.

3. He is married to Elenita Binay and they have 5 children – 4 girls and a boy, Jejomar Jr.- the current mayor of Makati.

4. Binay’s daughter, Mar-Len Abigail Binay was elected congresswoman and is currently serving as representative for the 2nd District of Makati City.

5. He is a Catholic, a Rotarian and he graduated at the University of the Philippines. He also attended the Philippine Normal College Training Department and the University of Santo Tomas.
