1.) Lapu-Lapu was born in 1491 and died in1542 CE and was the datu or chieftain of the island of Mactan in the Visayas.

2.) Lapulapu is known as the first native of the archipelago to have resisted Spanish colonization which is why he is regarded as the first Filipino hero.

the point 14 says an alcoholic drink was named after lapu lapu to honour him. what kind of an honour is it? when lapu lapu himself was a muslim and in islam drinking alcohol is forbidden. european colonialsm involved changing the mindset of people, they made people intoxicate. read stories of native americans, stories of opium in china.
